On this application a Fluidsentry dual monitored hydraulic valve set has been interfaced between the manifold & a DCV on a valve system. The monitored safety valve is interlocked with guarding to protect operators from hazardous movement of an extrusion press die cassette.
Following serious injuries to an operator, Fluidsentry pneumatic monitored valves have been interlocked with guarding, pneumatic actuator & brake functions on an automated unwinding machine. Operator access is prevented until pneumatics are confirmed safe.
